1. No rebate is payable in any month in which the minimum payment is not received by the due date. The minimum amount you must pay us each month will be the greater of £25 (or the total amount owing if less) or the sum of: 2% of the principal amount owing; interest; default fees; repayment protection insurance, and overdue amounts. No rebate is payable on Cash Withdrawals, interest, fees, Balance Transfers, amounts subsequently re-credited to your account due to refunds, or expenditure in any one month exceeding the amount of your Credit Limit. No rebate is payable if you end the agreement before the relevant Card Anniversary Date or if, in the 12 months preceding your Card Anniversary Date, the aggregate amount of all transactions (other than Cash Withdrawals and Balance Transfers) totals less than £3,000.
Subject to the above a cashback rebate of 5% will be payable to you by us on all transactions made in the first 3 months up to £100 and applied at the same time as any annual cashback. An annual cashback rebate on the aggregate amount of all transactions (other than the exclusions stated above and any introductory offer) will be payable to you by us and calculated at the following rates, 0.5% for aggregate amounts up to £3,500; and 1% for aggregate amounts from £3,501 to £7,500; and 1.25% for aggregate amounts in excess of £7,501.
A dormancy fee of £20 per year will be payable by you if the aggregate amount of all transactions, other than Cash Withdrawals and Balance Transfers, that have taken place during the preceding 12 months is £0.
2. The APR on goods and services will be 0% p.a. for your first 6 months as a Cardmember and thereafter the standard interest rate is representative 19.9%APR variable (1.52% per month) for goods and services and 27.9% interest p.a. including cash transaction charge for Cash Withdrawals. The low goods and services rate of 0% will not apply if you do not pay the minimum amount each month. Goods and services do not include Balance Transfers, American Express Travellers Cheque purchases, Foreign Exchange and Cash Withdrawals, interest, any spending in excess of your Credit Limit, charges for dishonoured cheques, late payment or referral charges and American Express Credit Card finance charges.
